Refund Policy

Salty Wings is a small, artist-owned Australian business. Every print is made to order in North Perth, Western Australia, and shipped from there to customers across Australia and the world.

We want every customer to be happy with their print. If something isn't right, please get in touch and we'll do our best to make it right.

Damaged or faulty prints

If your print arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault, please email us within a reasonable timeframe with photos of the damage and your order number. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

This applies to all customers, in Australia and internationally.

Change of mind

Every print is custom made to your specifications, so we generally don't offer refunds for change of mind. That said, we understand that sometimes a print doesn't land the way a customer hoped, and we'd rather sort it out than leave anyone unhappy.

If you've received your print and it isn't right for you, get in touch within 30 days of receiving it and we'll look at the options. Each case is considered individually. Where we agree to a return, the print needs to come back to us in original condition and packaging.

Free return shipping is generally available within Australia. International returns are handled case by case.

Custom sizes and special orders

Prints made to non-standard sizes, commissioned work, and commercial licensing are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Damaged-in-transit replacements still apply.

Gift cards, calendars, greeting cards and accessories

Gift cards are non-refundable.

For calendars, greeting cards and other accessories, the standard 30-day window for damaged or faulty items applies. Change of mind on these items is considered case by case.

Production updates and order changes

If you need to change or cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. We may be able to update or stop production before your print is printed and framed. Once production is complete, changes generally aren't possible.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major fault, you're entitled to a refund, replacement or repair under those laws regardless of what this policy says.
